Connection puzzles
Join things up. Hashiwokakero connects numbered islands with straight bridges until everything forms one network; Numberlink, coming soon, links matching numbers with paths that never cross. The clues say how much connects where, and the deductions come from what has to reach what.

What makes a connection puzzle
A connection puzzle is finished when the grid is one connected whole. In Hashiwokakero every island shows how many bridges touch it, bridges run horizontally or vertically, at most two join the same pair, and none may cross. Numberlink will drop the counts entirely: each pair of numbers is joined by one path and the paths fill the grid without crossing.
The habit that helps most is looking at the islands with the fewest options. An island in a corner with a 4 must have two bridges each way; an 8 in the open has two in every direction; a 1 next to another 1 cannot join it, or the pair would be cut off from everything else. Start with a 7×7 Hashiwokakero, then try the 13×13 once the connectivity rule feels natural.
FAQ
No. Bridges are straight horizontal or vertical lines between islands and they never cross each other or pass over an island.
One or two. Tap the gap between two islands to cycle between no bridge, a single bridge and a double bridge.
No. Every grid here is verified to have a single solution reachable by logic. If you are stuck, use Check to confirm the bridges you have drawn are consistent.
